Fix my Iphone

I've got an Iphone 2G and the screens a bit funny,
I don't have a clue whats happened to it but one side is blurry and smudged,
I don't think its cracked as LCD screens normally 'bleed' when cracked ?
Abyone got an insight ? Cheers

its a problem with the main board or the thin lead that connects the two, id say a easy fix, try going to a o2 shop think they charge £30 to send away and fix,
my w910i did the same,brought a new lcd and lead but seems to be the front panal or the main board its self so gave up!
brought a bb 8700v and it dont make or receve calls, but makes recives sms and pins!!:rolleyes:
so had to send that off as i wasnt buying another phone lol

How long have you had the phone? If it's still in warranty just send it back to the manufacturer, especially if it just started happening out of the blue. I wouldn't start pulling it apart otherwise you will null and void the warranty.

It's a 2g so will be over a year old, I'd try your luck and see if you can get the free upgrade to 3gs as o2 offered it to 2g users when they released the 3g, if not you could be eligable for an upgrade anyway
