Head differences the fundamentals?

OK, for example if you were presented two cylinder heads; one from a gt turbo and the other from a 1.4 campus what are the differences?

Just would like to know and think it may be informative for anybody else thinking along the lines iam :)

non turbo head havent got as much meat on them.
also, you see the turbo head has 2 cutouts on the man stud side.! well the non turbo heads cutouts are longer resulting in less man studs too. thats all im aware of.

I found out here that campus one is 73.00mm and GTturbo one is 73,90-74,00mm.

the later campus heads(efi) are exactly the same,even the same amount of studs.just ,as said before,not as high,if u look at the manual it should tell u the head heights for each. 73.5 mm sounds familiar for the turbo,. i reckon with a bit of milling in the combustion chamber u might be able to make one work,the walls seem a fair bit thicker around the c/chamber....i have a few pics of a scrap head in my profile.

A campus head can work on a GTT, just ask Colski, his camparse is a prime example of a turbo'd C3J

isnt 73mm the min head thickness to run on teh turbos
