Its about time to put my car in this section...

In short... I'm Jure Bocina, 25, from Croatia (doesn't matter if you don't know where that is ;) ) proud owner of 1990 GTturbo since I was 18. So, that would be about 7 years now. Many of my mates ask why I picked light crapy french can when I could go for VW GTI or Opel Kadett GSI and I cannot say why. Maybe I was stupid, maybe I wanted to be different but now it is simply obsession. Love maybe

I bought it completely standard with fecked 2 gear. Do not have pic with Speedlines but this is how it looked standard apart 15" OZ Crono Evolution:

I solved all problem with gearbox and everything was flawless for about 1.5 when I started messing with boost. And what happened... Two blown headgakets and knackered crankshaft. After that problems I discovered RTOC and became member. Membership in the club helped me a lot in daily maintenance as well as tuning.

Here are the few pics of first rebuilt which didn't last long due to crapy head and block works as well as porely fitted liners:

Before the rebuil (engine lasted 2k miles) I went for complete respray in original Tungy grey but it turned out too greenish for my taste. Still, good work in all.

When finally engine fell apart I decided to go for second rebuilt but this time on my own (with knowledge gained from you people :agree:) and little help of my mates. THis time I went for "bullet proof" parts and can tell you that everything work like a dream on 24 psi @ manifold. Few pic of new respray (Alfa Titanium Grey) and complete restauration of engine, suspension, steering...

I wont post more pics since lot of them are in my personal album. I had some problems with T25 and replaced it with GT2554r which is sweet choice for my setup:

my parents drove to Split in 1966, I guess it's changed a bit since then. I went in ~1979, I don't remember much except 'the wonderful watch'

Cool Andrew. It is very rare that Englishman went to former Yugoslavia back then. It changed a lot but kept that same spirit. Older ones say so...:mart:

Kadett GSI is Astra GTE at your place i think

Will get grill badge. Does the new design (without stripes) comes with two pins or just with three and needs some glue to get it on?

Standard rear spoiler is on its way as well as bonnet without scoop.

Dan, you naughty boy:hump:
