just a quick one,
i've been having starter issues for a long time, very noisy, even with the dowell in, so other week ordered one from GSF (supposedly an uprated one, as in faster spinning and smaller) , and it had an extra tooth (10 rather than the 9 i counted on the one i took out) was alot quieter, but turned over very slowly seemed to drain the battery in a few seconds if the car didn't catch and start, once or twice it would spin really really fast, but not very often.
quick call to GSF and i now have a std one, its magnetti marelli, and only has 9 teeth..
question is, which one is right? 9, or 10 teeth... i dont want to mash up my flywheel anymore than it is!
