ok been pritty bored so ive been trying to create some new desktop wallpaper, heres what ive come up with...
anyways the res is not right my monitor is 22" widescreen running 1680x1050.
and the wallpaper is 1024x768 does anyone know any software that will allow me to change the res?

The magical programme of paint :D

Open it in paint, then sketch/skew, and that reduce by the percentage you want it reduced.

The problem you run into with that is as the widescreen monitor (16:9) is a different aspect ratio to 1024x768 (4:3 standard ratio) your image will be stretched. I can do it for you but can't upload it here as the limit is 1024x768

Ideally you would create it on a canvas with the correct size first

I've done it at 840x525 (quarter size) to show you what I mean
