Hi ive got a Nitro buggy not used it in like a year ,
i tried starting it up the other day and it ran for like 1 sec then died now it wont start at all , ive checked the glow plug its fine , dont think its flooded as ive emptied the fuel out and tryed it some more.
ive recently put a electric drill start on it.

Any ideas ?:coffee:

Yes it does go off, I would buy some more and try draining the system and replacing.
This should sort you out.

They don't like standing round and not being used. I have a Nitro 10 buggy, a bit old now but if I don't use it for a while it is a nightmare to get it going again. The fuel goes off; it goes tacky to the touch. Clean it all out, new fuel and take the air filter off and pour a little new fuel in sometimes helps get mine going.

Remove the glow plug and check you have a good 'Glow'. Remove the air filter and set the throttle trim to full, remove the pipe between the exhaust and fuel tank and blow down it and you will see the fuel going into the carb. Refit the pipe and with the glow plug loosened slightly try and start it. Once running nip the plug back up and keep it running for a short while. They dont like starting after standing but it cant be too major? I crashed mine yesterday and am sat her repairing it now!:) Any trouble let me know what ya want for it;)

they are fairly easy to fix / replace parts etc just undoing all the screws is a pain in the hoop

Temperamental things! I had one and it was always a pain in the arse to tune, and it broke nigh on every time that I took it out. Fun though  Imagine having a radio controlled GTT :scared:;)

raced these for far to many years, club 10's onto hpi pro 3/4's and then onto hobao buggys...

Then one day i took the lot and sold up.

Best thing ive ever done, nothing but a pain in the arse
