lights doing crazy things.. bad earth

on the new r5 ive picked up, when the lights are on and the right indicator is on the brake light seems to flash with the indicator. would i be right in saying there is a bad earth somewhere ?

I think earth is generally the problem when you get funky things like that happening. I think the earth for the rear lights are literally just behind the cluster, so it's easy enough to pop them off and clean the earth up. :)

sweeet, thought that would be the case but may aswell check before getting out there incase theres a common cause.
