whats this?

on my new r5 there are quite a few brackets and things that my previous r5 did not have, one of these things is a green coil that sits on a bracket above the turbo and bolts to the bulkhead.. what is this and can i remove it ?

it can just be seen in the below pic, also what is the redundant plug for?

Not sure what the green bit is but the plug is for the perc fan solenoid (which is missing).

that green resistor is also part of the perc fan, and yer it can be removed

cool , ill get lot shifted then, is there any particular place thats ideal to cut the wires for this

I cut mine at the loom at the front of the engine. Try not to leave any exposed wires, use insulation tape. :agree:
