Found this 8 page article in an old 'Car' magazine from 1987. Makes for a good read with some good pics too. The scans are a bit poo and page one didnt save sadly :confused:

I want a cupcar! Hmmm maybe turn my phase 2 into a 'homage' to the cupcars, rather than a replica, stripped out, caged, stickers...

TBH if i was looking for a car again, i would buy a GTT & make it a replicia, saves going through all the hassle trying to sort out getting a cup car road legal...
