cheers lads for the help with my 5 on the way2 fcs... and 2 the lad with the convertable 5 for the lift!!! the 5 was def spoilt with the evian ;):agree:

there was no drivin back for me 2day!!!! :cry::cry:
hopefully i`ll crack on with changin the headgasket tommorow.
good 2 meet you guys anyways and the rest of the lads we headed down with!!

will do mate!! had2 wait an hr an half 4 the recovery truck.... since i wasnt drivin anywhere i bought a few beers and sat on the grass outside. ;) :laugh:

im takin tommorow off work now 2 get the head off... got a spare head anyways so hopefully its just the gasket nothin 2 major. shall let u know how i get on. :agree:
its my own fault, should of changed back from the cable tie 2 a jubilee. ohh well u live and learn. :laugh:

i owe you pair about 12 litres of evian. :agree: or atleast a beer...:smokin:

progress so far thismornin.... liners and pistons look ok!!! think i pulled over just at the right time. :agree: still got about an hr 2 wait b4 my gaskets etc get2 my local motorfactors. :coffee:

I also need to thank nick aswell! ..needed a turbo and some ht leads for my clio gtt to get it home and he brought the parts down! ...and a big thanks to Kris M for making the call... i made it back to glasgow with it as a N/A engine ...fitting the turbo during the week at some point :smokin:
