gt turbo engine fit into a 340 volvo?

anyone know? 340 volvos are cheap, loads og gtt engines knocking about, cheapo drift car route maybe?

They have put the F7P lump in there, so I dont see why you couldn't put the C1J in there. Problem being is exhaust going the back of the car I guess but should be able to just route it differently and it should fit.

f7p and c1j have been done loads in volvo 340 have a look at youtube. Im sure on the old site there was a guy doing a drift 340 painted in grey.

i suspect the car would have to be a left hand drive car to fit the gtt lump, as the servo was in the way....
i looked into this years ago, and was suitably disappointed.- hence why the 16v engine can be used on the right hand drive versions....
