play in the turbo shaft

hi all,

I took the car out for testing the other day and after giving it some beans I noticed that there's a slight play in the shaft(approx. 1mm to either side). Funny thing is there's no play when it cools down :scratch:

I don't think it's that much to damage the turbo but it's enough for me to worry, turbo is a brand new T25 off a 300zx with 10miles on it at the most.


So is this normal or am I right to be worried?

that play will be reduced with oil pressure,so long as its not smokey or noisy u should be ok!
