Some core do come with bolt holes on the top which look like the oil return side, the main oil feed hole should have athread in there so a fitting can be screwed in.
Bets thing to do is take the turbo to a local fiting suppliers like Pirtek for example, they should tell what thread it is and supply a fiting that will fit the turbo and also join your oil feed pipe to it.

To me it looks like the core is upside down, that will need rotating round.

Ideally you want it the right way round mate, you can do it yourself its just a case of loosening the housings from the core then rotating them to where you want them and then tighten back up.

i can see the bolts on the exhaust housing but what about the compressor side there is only 2 bolts holding the actuator on. do i have the loosen the nut on the turbine in the compressor housing. want to be sure before i break it :)

If its not bolts on the back of the compressor housing it'll be a circlip, don't need to loosen the compressor wheel its just the housing that need doing.

**** has hit the fan one of the bolts on the feckin thing has snapped .
is it possible to run the turbo core the wrong way round or is it gonna cause trouble.
you would want the oil return on the bottom as it has to return it to the sump
