Just a quick question if anyone knows, in the process of changing some of my water pipes and found a problem.
Theres a plastic t-piece that goes been the water pipe to the turbo and the degas chamber, and then t's off to the carb.
Well the t-piece is all fecked and melted through the middle so I was gonna replace with a new t-piece, but what I wanted to check first was whether theres a valve or anything special about it??
Thanks in advance
have a look in here, I dont know to any T piece on the coolant side

I may well be getting confused then as looking at the pipe locations it comes off the top of the swirl pot so I think it may be a breather pipe :ashamed: oops!!!!?????
the breather system,,,,

No need to go genuine, any one will do. It'd be pennies from Renault though. They tend not to be expensive for stuff like that.

As long as its exactly the same size so that the restrictors fit (parts 11 & 13), unless you make your own restrictors for the new T-piece.

well my old one had some sort of restricter in it but it was all melted and had melted plastic inside the pipe which to me didn't look to be letting anything through at all. I'll give Renault a ring with those two part numbers and see what they can do.
Cheers for all the help
your welcome.....
PS, change your thread title to breather t piece....
it will help future searchers for help...
