Dodgy electric window on my r5

Another little problem on my car:cry:

My drivers side window goes dwn quick but is really slow going up.New motor or could it be something else?

mine was like this the other day. now i have other problems with it.
a m8 suggested that i soiled the rubbers that the window goes up and down in.

so out came the wd40 and it seemed noticabley faster..

crap motor then mate, mine does the same. but saying that
when i had sprayed the door the rubbers were off and it went up quickly when i put the window up

take the rubbers and door panel off and unbolt the glass, then remove the runners from the door and unclip the motor from the mechanism. pull out the bit that the glass bolts onto any you'll have a rope with a metal coil around it... coppergrease it all up nicely, copperslip all moving parts on the mech, and it'll go up and down loads better. it takes a bit of time but my drivers window is good as new now, just gotta do my pass one
