ive got an MOT due (well over due now) I got an advisory at the last one for the discs being grooved slightly. I thought I'd whip the discs off and skim them up at work to save buying new and just fit new pads. They look like theres still plenty of meat left on them but just wanted to check what the min thickness was.

Thanks for the PM mate :) where did you get your new set of discs and pads from and what did they cost you? (if you dont mind me asking) :coffee:

aye I think I might have to pop my cherry and spend some cash at K-tec :ashamed:...

They seem to be reasonable on price compared to Reno!

yeah and you dont need the bollox of pads if your only driving normaly on roads.

To be fair getting the brakes done is a good selling point, and as it is that your selling.. i would :) also wheels.

the thing that sold the vee except the grunt and noise was re furbed alloy wheels and the brakes in a box that went with it:)
