just got a T28 fitted to mine, coupled with the piper cam and 20psi...the car feels like a ballastic missile compared to how it felt with the T2/T25 turbo it had on it.

not sure its much cop as a track setup mind you.

aii, had the rollerbearing t28 on for the sqm ;-) stock cam in tho, good for a 13.7 on a dodgy gearbox

more to the point intercooler first up the boost a little say 14psi and i bet that would be nice rather than having a bigger turbo and run hot air, even a pace intercooler is good its still not as good as a forge or other fmic,
intercooler first i would say.
if you get the turbo first it will put more pressure and heat on the stock i/c

First off, don't go near Pace or Forge for intercoolers, they're dog ****. Secondly, a larger turbo is going to blow cooler air because it's not as compressed.

Yep what he said, and as I said the stock cooler with a few mods is very good at it's job

it all boils down to what you want from the car. in a magority of cases its just a couple of extra psi and some spot on fueling setup and save yourself some pennies in the mean time.

it was just an example, still think id fit a intercooler before a turbo if i had to do one before the other like tooks asked

ive flowed my intercooler, and that means ive removed the flap and all crap so its free flowing, and i disnt see an improvement, only at night realy, but then i have no directing air or holes in the bumper

you may not physically feel the difference but how many people actually measure there charge temps. not many i know:sad2:

me to

at 20psi on the T25 on a mild sunny day i was pulling 40 degrees C on the dual capacity intercooler.
dropped to 20 degrees C on a similar temp day with a large front mount

i believe i have THS_03 front mount or something like that.

i get carb freeze on days when it reads 8 degrees on the air temp guage.

if i had of kept the stock intercooler i wouldnt get carb freeze in the winter but i would of been getting 50 - 60 degrees C charge temps @ 20psi on a mild sunny day.
