Dodgy brake lights on my r5

Before i refer to my haynes today i was wondering if anyone had any sugestions why my brake lights dont always work when i press the pedal please.

I pressed the pedal about 10times and it was working about 3 times.

If its both brake lights playing up then its more that likely the brake pedal switch. Try taking it out and wd40 it, then press it loads of times to work it in. If that don't sort it, replace it. If you wanna make sure the rest of the circuit is ok, bridge the plug on the brake pedal switch and the lights should come on.
