Ball joint

Need to replace a ball joint...never done this before.....is it just a case of undoing the 3 bolts?....any tips or advice would be appreciated:)

Also need a front wheel bearing, how is best to do that?:)

Balljoint is only 3 bolts, Easy job:)

You will need to take the hub off to do wheel bearing, Best bet is to get a garage to remove/press the new one in. Most places will do it for a few ££.

you may need a ball joint spilter but haynes have a good few pages on front suspension bits

in any case realy its a case of easing of the bolts, popping the tool in and spliting the joint, if needed

wheel bearing is more difficalt and you will need the hub nut off the drift shaft or hub off to remove,

never done one on a 5 but done servreal on other cars, so could well be slightly diffrent

but some can be a right dog, others slip out easy
