After sorting my clutch problem out i went for a test drive and noticed my standard oil pressure guage was near the bottom and only moving slightly but the car is running fine.I had a look in the haynes manual and the warning light isnt on so im guessing it could just be a sensor problem.Any help would be great because i couldnt even find where the sensor is in the haynes manual.I have done plenty miles since the oil pressure guage problem so it isnt reading correct. It usually reads nice and high.

Thanks,Luke

Hey Luke,

Have you tried giving the dash a tap to see if you can wake the gauge up??

Contrary to popular belief i feel that it's the gauges that go more often than the sensors!

My gauge started playing up the other day so i changed it with another one i had & hey presto it's back to life?! I think there's something that goes wrong with the gauge motor or something??

Either way i wouldn't worry too much about it because the gauge has never been known for being very accurate!

Spot on Steve ;)

In fact I would be more worried about the car if the guage worked :D:D:D lol

Cleaning the terminals sometimes helps :)
