Recieved the pulley today, what is the litte half moon part for? im sure it will make sense when im told:ashamed::laugh:

i got this from cgb, its meant to be the piper vernier pulley. ive just been on there site and mine looks like the cat cam pulley.

is it right? can anyone confirm its the piper?

that is not the piper one i have a piper one and looks like yours man

The one K-tec sell is the piper vernier, the CBG one looks like something they have come up with.

I can sort of see how it fits on but its not the best idea i've seen

its the cat cams one.

the piper one has weird washers around the allen headed bolts.
the cat cams one uses straight allen bolts.

the standard cam gear has a locating lug as part of the moulding.

the piper one has a pin that is pushed through it and locates in groove in the end of the cam.

the cat cams one uses the little woodruff key to stop the gear twisting on the end of the cam.

Ive sent cgb and email so hopefully they will swap it for the piper if not i will get it from ktec.
