View Full Version : Big end and main bearing part numbers
I have on the main.. 7700667400
and on the big ends.. 7700712673
could anybody tell me the sizes of these as i need to replace all of them :)
Also thrust washers :)
Jon just tried both those part numbers on my dialogys and nothing has come up:crap:
they must be the standard size tbh, as nothing looks changed and all is orignal parts from old engine.
What are the standard sizes then? ile just order those up. should be ok
They've normally got the size stamped on them (if you have them to hand). If they're standard they have STD on the end.
I wouldn't go to Renault for new ones personally - any engine shop should be able to get you a full set cheaply.
Hope this helps. :)

I had a look at them last night and there is no size stamped on them which as you say they normally do. All thats is on them is the Renault part number no size indication at all which I thought was a little strange.
just the part numberon them. must be standard then

Just called my friendly local Renault dealership given them the part numbers with ref to finding out the sizes and they will come back to me.
Fingers crossed they can tell us.
Well my local Renault have called me back to say the numbers on the bearing are no longer valid and they have been superseeded with the following numbers
Mains 7701348419 £41.33 + VAT special order from france size 54.8
Big Ends 7700712673 £27.55 + VAT stock in the UK size 44.0
They could not confirm if the original numbers on these have been superseeded with the same size's :crap:
Jon looks like you may need to take the big ends to Sutton re-bore to see if they can measure them so we can find out size.
ile take them down there with the pistons and liners then :) thanks for the efforts james:)
