Strut brace question

Would a R5 GTT front strut brace fit a Clio 1.8 16v, the struts look pretty much the same to me but i'd thought i'd ask, cheers.

ok thanks, there are two types of strut brace for the clios 1.8 16v brace and a non 1.8 16v brace would the 1.8 16v brace clear the lobster on top of the carb for when I do the conversion?

It will not, I know a couple of people had to make their own strut brace or convert one which is already produced to fit with the C1J lump in the car.
