speedo problem

can anyone help me speedo has never worked on my gt turbo phase 2 is it electronic:eek:

It is electronic It will proberly be the black three pin connector in the engine bay (mine is a white wire) cut the connector out and rejoin the wires (solder) see if that helps.

Also worth checking the connector/tracks on the back of the speedo gauge - The speedo in old whitey was recently starting to fail/jump around, and that turned out to be a dry joint on one of the connector tracks going to the pcb. Cleaned & re-soldered - J.D :agree:

Mine does not jump around or fail but it does seem to under read, Faulty gearbox sensor?
