New poster! (less than 10 posts)

hiya guys new to the 5 world so be gental :D lol

Right ive bought a 5 raider that is having a clean up and treated to a few nice goodies. Basicly a friend of mine offered some cheap wheels to me, a set of 16inch speedline chrono. ive also seen a set of speedline turini up for grabs which ive wanted a set for ages now.

Basicly wondering if anyone has had these on the car and got any pics what they look like?

Also are 16inch wheels too much for the standard steering rack? and also stil possible to get full lock?

Currently on the car are clio turbines which i do like.

I'd stick with 15's and have the turbines colour coded and/or cleaned up. The car will handle better on 15s.;)

I'm i the only one in this club who doesn't like turbines!:D

If you go for the 16's mate they won't be too much problem, the lip of the rear bumper may need alittle trim but thats rpoba about it to fit them. Make sure they have the correct tyres on though, they should be 195/45-16.

go for standard 13s, i find that with 15s the steering becomes heavy and u lose that gtt feel

any one else noticed that you also start killing wheel bearings quickly with 15's on?

with regards to cheap rubber, i looked into whats availlable for the 13's, and it seems only the uniroyle's, think there where about 45+the vat a corner, as opposed to say 195/45-15, your talking 30-35+vat per corner for toyo's and alike.
