How have people fitted them using the standard gt turbo manifold? Got an xs power setup cheap so thought id have a play!

The adaptors XS power sell have wrong size flange for an R5, plus you'd have to extend your down pipe, oil feed and return, basically not worth doing it that way. It is possible to weld a tube onto the factory manifold but I think theres an issue with it cracking, get a tubular manifold and have it adapted is the easy way

Just out of intrest, why do you feel the need to fit an external wastegate. Is your current boost control no good or do you want it for the screamer pipe?:)

Will be running big boost with the new engine so having a play to see where it could mount before i swap engines over, and realise it wont fit! Also screamer pipes sound nuts!!
