my accelerator pedal seems too close to the floor but goes up and looks about right if you pull the cable tight from under the bonnet.
is there a way of adjusting the cable so it'll be a bit tighter? i've had a look and cant figure it out  oh, and its on a phase 1 if that makes a difference.

cheers guys :agree:

Undo the clamp on the throttle cable bracket, pull the inner cable further out if possible, 5 min job. P.s don't over tighten the clamp or the cable tends to pull through all the time:)

You may need to take the little bracket off an bend it as little more if it has gone flat.

i've had a look at it earlier and i can't find anything that clamps the cable. it just had a long thin peice, like, crimped to the end of the cable that slots onto a holder for it but there are no clamps, am i looking at the right part?
for now i've put the end in the opposite way so it takes away all the slack and the car feels so much better but i don't really like the look of it how it is :( i'm scared it'll break.

sorry for the essay.
