I had Miller round today looking over my gtt engine ..sorted a few pipes etc ..dropped the revs to idle at normal idle speed.Sorted the throttle cable. To then hear at idle a nice knocking/rattle noise coming from the waterpump area. The noise goes away as the revs go up.
Miller told me to whip the belt off and start it for a few secs to see if its still there(ive yet to do this. My question is before i go taking the belt off ...will it be the water pump or the bottom end as im told this engine was a fairly good engine.
Just wondering if any of you have this problem aswell.
