View Full Version : Drilling and welding LM1 bung
Hello
I need to add he bung to my down pipe. I know it needs to be a few inches down. How do people do it? Drill a hole so it's a neat fit and weld around it or try tap it in so it screws? Any close up piccies of the bung welded?
Thanks

Go to a exhausht place like rsr they will do it for you just tell them where you want itShould'nt cost no more than £20
£20! I got a welder drill bits and the inclination to do it so I'll hold out for some piccies or advice :)thanks
hey man, i cant look at the moment as im at work , but look through my previous threads/posts (in my profile) and you should find one with regards afr meters etc which contains pics of the bungs/lamda fitted.
drill a hole big enough for the bung to drop into, fit it so its half in the pipe and half out then weld round it :)
