Is anyone interested genuinly and is it worth me spending my time and seeing if i can can source out a deal on some liner seals as i for one spent alot of time hunting them down idividually and works out rather expensive for what they are, or are people happy to just buy the complete bottom end set. if your interested add your name and i will see what i can i can sort out people:agree:

Richie,

I read recently (think it was Sparky?) that people were using a bead of silicone around liners instead of the seal.
That would be a quick fix and cheap to?

thats not a quick fix you have you wait for the silicone to go off.

i dont like the sound of Only using silicone sealant around the liner seal base:dearme:
every rebuild ive done ive always smeared a "light" coating of silicone sealant over the liner seals. it was sparkie who showed me this long ago:agree:

This is what i did as i think raj told me, info past down the rtoc family :)

Just using silicone doesn't give you a margin for any error :crap:
