ok i took my car down the ring road seemed to be running fine, but as i come of it sounded like its missing, and running really lumpy sorta like its reving high then suddenly nothing and pulling back then shoots off agin etc,
the plugs leads dizzy and rotar arm are less than a week old so is the tdc lead.
basicaly at about 1800 revs its the worst real lumpy, at over 3000 revs sometimes it runs fine then the next time can be lumpy however it does run alot better over 3000 revs.
i noticed it smells quite strongly of fuel once i stopped.
can anyone throw some light on this matter thanx;)

I've blown the mixture screw out before. Might be worth checking.

An lm1 is an air fuel ratio system, seems to be the 1 to get

ahh ok kool, so from the sounds of it you guys think its more carb/fuel related then, rather than coil leads plugs etc.
ive got a 25 piece gasket set ill take my carb out tommorow then give it a damm good sort out then take to a garage and get them to use a lm1 and sort it sounds good:)
thanks guys;)
