I'm removing my turbo heat shield,to gain access to the manifold ,and having trouble removing the metal pipe that comes out of the turbo and goes through the H/shield.I'v undone the bolt ,but the pipe won't budge,obviously don't want to force it and break someting:rolleyes:.Is there a trick to removing it?

you mean the pipe that comes off the back of the turbo elbow ???

If so, once the union is undone it should just pull out. Years of heating and cooling may have made it stuck :D. Just use plenty of spray and try and work it loose once youve undone the union

Yes thats the one! I'll do just that,thanks for the info;) strange it won't come out,as I had a new heat shield fitted not long ago:confused:

No probs, as i said, once the union is undone it should just pull out. Similar to how the rear brake pipe attached to the caliper :)
