Ok so im going from steelies to alloys.

The brains of the operation DanielH aka Zippystar has suggested that alloys have a taped wheel nut and steelie nuts sit flush.

Hes sugested I need some alloy wheel nuts. Where can i buy these or can i get them from one of you guys?

Im gunna check my wheel bearing whilst im doing this swap over. jack up see if theres any play etc.

Dude, i used the standard bolts when i changed from speedlines to the cup steels.

So your just doing the opposite :) mine were ok

Pretty sure folks on here are mature enough to see the difference between general chatter and hitting on folks over a message board.

Back on topic, there is a place in burton that sell all kind of nuts bolts , spacers etc (specifically for alloys) .. the place is called RaceWays.. (www.yell.com) will have there details.

PMSL. Besides, it's nothing to do with freedom of speech. I'm not saying someone can't say what they think, I'm asking for them to speak in the right forum and stop causing CMs uneccessary work :agree:

I dont class my little conversations as Technical.

If you have the 19mm chrome bolts they will most likely be the same as the gtt bolts. Mine are on my extra...

alloy wheel bolts (tapered) can be used with steel wheels but you definetely need tapered bolts for alloy wheels.

i think they can be cut to your desired length...they did this for me a few years ago.......you will have to tell them what application they are for..:agree:... give them a call, .......worth a shot mate;).
