I completely forgot about the guy I met the other night and his story :laugh:
I thought I'd share it and others can post the funny tales they've been told.
Anyway. I was out wednesday night and a 206 went screaming past me, I seen the guy a bit later and noticed a front mount, thinking it was an interesting conversion started chatting to him.
The engine was from a 406 turbo he told me, I asked what size turbo does he run... 'Standard 2 ltr.' he said. 'but what size turbo?' I asked ... 'Standard' :rolleyes:
Also I was told its running 1 bar, 'thats 17psi' I was told :laugh:
He then went on to praise the dump valve. Aparantly he knows a guy with a 205 turbo with a magical gear box and he can use the clutch to change gear or just fire through gears. The quarter mile time was quicker using the clutch 'because the dump valve kicks in.'
He also try explaining power to weight to me... He had a carbon bonnet to keep weight down for drag racing but filled the car with speakers!?
