How does this clutch fair? I have read the article regarding these and it states that it may slip at 200bhp+.

I have just received one from GSF even though i stated a Valeo one so is it worth getting it changed? I will be looking at running 18psi which will probably be about 150-160bhp going on the last RR day? Whats peoples thoughts on this?

not so well, I had this prob with GSF a few years back, the pressure plate is nothing like as heavy as the valeo and it may slip. they should also quote torque not bhp

Its fitted as I have no choice I need the car back on the road quick, Ive not driven the car with it fitted it yet as demon tweeks as let me down again. I don think the pressure plate will be that tough as its really easy on the leg:sad2:

Thats what provides the clamping force mate, ive heard the best combo is an a.p friction plate with the valeo green box pressure plate, not that thats any good for me now:crap:

the ebay stuff, get booked out at gsf brum, by two helpful guys.
the order then gets printed off in the warehouse, and is then picked/packed/sent by the warehouse operatives. - anything could happen!!!

unless you live next door to say GSF...id order from local motor

If I had the choice the clutch would have gone back and I could of waited a week to get the right one but things just dont work out like that some times, i.e I needed the car back on the road:cooter:
