gearbox breather

I have hands that cant help touching things:D and i managed to pull the breather off the top. When i went to put it back on it it wont fit on tight. is there a tube in the gearbox if fits into as there was no evidence of silicone or sealer keeping it tight. :sad2:

couple of breathers on the box one is a 6" length of pipe and the other is a little black box .
both just slip in

as long as your breather is going into wot looks like a grommet thingy (which is actualy a pipe inside the box) dont worry

The pipe wasn't locating into anything in the hole. If you looked down at the hole it just looked like a bolt should be in it as it had a thread. I'm starting to get worried.:(

the bolt hole your looking at is the wrong one .
in the picky second one . just near the wiring is another hole .. that were the breather slips in
