It will polish out....

At least it went the way it was designed to be used.

That is a real shame. Such a stunning car in the flesh. Just text Alex to ask how he is, will update thread with any plans for a re-build!!? Lets hope so.

like i said, the shell is there on ebay ready for a rebuild.... thats what i'd be doing! at £2200 its a funking steal! assuming John Price doesnt get his grubby mits on it.

i had a text off one of the previous owners, saying it was a bit rusty around the door posts and the back end was a bit rough. - needed quite abit of work to get it good. (and alot of money i bet!)

Saw Alex yesterday for a service on my 5. The T1 looks sorry for itself but the resto is underway. Hes pulled the roof back but is yet to decide if he will chop it off anyway. Being aluminium its been a biatch to get anywhere near sraight. I think he will drop a standard roof on there in the end. The plan is to set it up for track use. No more hill climbing!! Chatting to him about the current set up made me moist. John Price race engine/gearbox/LSD supplying the rear wheels with 210bhp.

Anyway, full details of progress are on cliosport so he tells me. Aims to be ready to race next season.
