I thought I'd mention this to any thinking of getting into sprinting or hillclimbing..

I'm definitley going - sadly in my saxo :( as the renos not quite ready, the location is near Lichfield which is just off the A38

Here's a response from one of the organisers..

Sir. It is free (yes free !). Just bring yourself and a road legal car and join the queue from 9.30 to lunchtime on Sunday and we will take you through the whole aspects of getting involved in Sprinting - licences, paperwork, scrutineering and some track time with an instructor. Im interested in getting into this type of sport/hobby, is there like a general website where i can find out info on what the cars have to be like/rules and regs?

Basically there's a class for everything.. even if you have an odd ball like mine they just stick you in the sports libre class.. what would you like to race?

Alright cool cheers. Il prob want to use a 5. I might be getting another soon so il have one to drive then one to track/hill/sprint just having a look at whats about =]
