New turbo strange noise

Hello just fitted a new t28 to my gtt and have found its making a whiring noise out the end of my viper induction kit quite loud on tick over seems to get quiter as I rev the engine is this normal or do i have a problem? I did prime the turbo before starting it by cranking engine over with king lead disconnected also it won't boost past a couple of psi even when I adjust bleed valve! could this be down to the actuator not being set correctly have put 140 main jet & 90 air corrector jet into carb at same time if that makes a difference, it is booked into rolling road on wednesday to be set up just want to check It ain't knackered before I waste my money on rollers.

Take the air filter off and spin the shaft, see if it makes a noise.

Where did you get the turbo from?

I brought it off a member on here it was still in box from turbo developments with delivery invoice

Have you checked your pipes are on properly...

Ah thats cool, was just checking as i had a similar prob with a recent turbo that was purchased off ebay.

Give the turbo a quick check over though just to be sure

Yeah I checked all my pipework everything seems to be in order

Sorted breather hose off back of inlet round to the t piece that should have restrictor in it didn't :confused: put a spare on I had knocking around and no strange noise :) Thanks for your advise tho :agree:

was just about to post about the breather! exzactly the same happend to me
