View Full Version : turbo identification
i know fook all about turbos :crap: and i am trying to flog a
turbo unit that came of the fuego i butchered recently .
could someone tell me in a simple way where to find the a/r number from and other
information that would be needed to identify the turbo unit please ??
On compressor housing .ar number is bulge on outside part (probably you will have Garrett M24 or M27 and than .ar ....) of the housing while .ar on the turbine housing is engraved on inside part where turbo bolts to the exhaust manifold.

If it's of a Fuego, it's a T3. I'm not sure what the exhaust a/r is.
look inside the manifold flange, it'll have it stamped on the bottom side (elbow end) of it. It may be quite sooty, so give it a wipe.
