oil temp issue [Archive]

I've recently dropped my mineral 15W40 oil after the engine had been properly run in after a rebuild... oil temps while cruising @ 80 mph were around 90 deg C with that oil.
Now I've changed to 10W40 semi-synthetic oil and the temps while cruising @ 80 mph are now around 100 deg C. Is this normal?

not to sure on oil temp on a gtt but my mates civic runs about 95/ 100c

i wouldnt worry mate its whn it climes above 130/40 realy, dont fret about it mate, it runs hotter becasue the viscosity is diffrent
