LC-1/DB gauge wiring

Now, I’m not very good with electrics but I’m getting better!

I’m going to be wiring in my LC-1 and DB gauge this weekend and was wondering how people have gone about doing it. I have all the instructions of course but would just like to see how other people have done it…

I’m thinking of taking the live feeds from the wire going to the AEI in the scuttle area via a 5 amp in-line fuse and routing the wires through into the car. The LC-1 controller will probably live in the area next to the washer bottle.

Does this sound like a reasonable way to go about it?

i took my live from the thick yellow ignition wire as it's perfectly placed in the dash.

my lc-1 also lived near the washer bottle,i put it back in the plastic bag though & cable tied the ends to prevent water getting at it.

how has the DB gauge been wired?? I have no instruction for that??

I was thinking of using the same live feed from the AEI unit to feed the DB gauge also. :)
