I agree 100% there was a few issues in 2008 which we have 100% identified and have made some big changes. The major change is adding new attractions like Rally and putting everything in the same area so the place isn't dis-jointed.

The weather killed the show last year also as some of our attractions were called off.

I am really keen to show the map when it is finished as everyone will see the improvements.

The massive welcome centre is being run by Flux this time and has some cool additions and free refreshments.

* New layout – clubs/trade & attractions
* New Rally Feature and Rally Sprint - new and next to clubs
* Flux Chill out zone with refreshments all on the house! – new
* F1 Pit Stop Challenge - new
* Live Arena in trade area next to clubs - new
* Up to 600 track slots (broken into 15 & 30 minute sessions) – new
* Rolling Road
* Massive trade village - now next to clubs
* Top 25 - now next to clubs

I hope you can see with the list we have got our heads down, listened to feedback and should be a good day.

I am also starting a track package that offers 8 x 20 minute track sessions (20 minutes includes change over) for £120 plus you entry ticket. That is x2 sessions more than a sessioned track day at the Rock at a 1/3 of the price. If there are sessions left we will give people with these passes more access as a bonus. We will also give you free pit garages.

Cheers
Mark

I am corresponding with the club from France and they are bringing more this year. They emailed me and said they are staying from the Friday so making a weekend holiday of it.

The show is going to be much better this year as we have sat down with the clubs and changed the event to what they wanted.

Like I say track is cheaper this year too if anyone is interested.

Hi Mark,
Ive not be quick too get in touch with you to organise a club area as i was also dissapointed about last years event. Not least at having our club stand stuck out back in a gravel car park miles from the action. We also had a few members unhappy with both the cost, and way the track time was run last year.
But it's good to here you're sorting out last years issues, so i take it the club parking will be back inside the padock area for this year?

What are you offering in the way of discount to RTOC members for the track time?

Stu :)

Stu

hi mate, can we have a chat by telephone and I could explain and discuss best options to look after RTOC.

We have put everything together this year but its in the outer paddock but I have options at my disposal.
