Full shell inc doors, boot, bonnet, wings, rear quater, full body kit... :)
The interior plastics and dash would look good in carbon fibre :smokin:

the engine....................:dearme:
think if it was a track car and had deep pockets id have all removable panals carbon fire
and seats and half dash, and carbon ceramic brakes:p

Yeah spoke to the bloke from performance trim at Pod today and he said anything can be made with the mould but costs about £1500 to set it up. For a tailgate he would need to sell 4 to break even and at least 5/6 to make it worth while, because of the set up costs and they would be about £400 - 500 a piece. I asked about a tailgate, bonnet and roof panel for the 5 :D
pretty much everythin!!!!
The whole shell but I'd want full on rally cage to give me some protection should the worst happen

I asked him about bonnets the other day when i was ordering some off cuts, sounds like a nice guy, said the same to me too about numbers for a group buy, he also said his would fit properly...!
I bought a magazine the other day to read at work while bored,Redline i think.........had a Fiesta in it with a carbon roof that apparently lowers the centre of gravity on the car (its a track car).............. how does that work tho? roof wasnt chopped or lowered or anything...just made from carbon (although it was stated that u need a rollcage to strengthen up the roof). I believe the company that made the roof on the Fiesta was also performance trim.
Ive been after a GOOD fitting carbon bonnet for some time so id be in on a group buy for that.......and also been looking into getting the rear boot spoiler done to match.

Says it all really. Lowering the centre of gravity would involve lowering the whole roof, just making it out of carbon wouldn't have much of an affect in this aspect.

removing weight from the top of the vehicle would shift the center of gravity south would it not?
