manifold removal.

Hi ,might have to renew my manifold gask,just had a quick look in Haynes,and it said that you need to remove the turbo,is this the case,or can you get away without turbo removal?
any tips,warmly welcomed:D

you dont need to remove the turbo just leave it on the exhaust manifold mate
