Right, a few people have been asking me for info on the decals worn by the 5's in the Renault 5 elf Turbo UK Cup series, so here goes:
There were several companies who officially sponsored the series, and their decals had to be worn in specific places on the cars. There was also designated "free" space, where the teams/drivers, could put their own sponsors logos. The following decals were used in the 1987-1989 seasons, and there was a slight change in 1990.
Front headlights - elf
Front number plate recess - Renault Loan
Front bumper, below headlights - Michelin
Front bumper, side - Facom
Bonnet, front corners - CAT transport and distribution
Front wing, front - de carbon
Front wing, rear - Philips
Front wheel arches - Michelin
Doors, front, top corner - elf
Doors, (below above) - Staw
Doors (below above) - CAT transport and distribution
There were also the number boards on the bonnet and doors, and the "Renault 5 elf Turbo UK Cup" sunstrip.
All of the competing cars had to run all of the above, and the "free" areas were:
Front edge of bonnet
Rear quarter panels
Roof
Tailgate
As I said above, in 1990 they changed slightly. The Renault Loan on the front bumper was replaced with Renault Financial Services, and Champion made an appearance as well (I can't remember the official location of it though, i'm sure it replaced one of the others).

For some reason i'm missing an image/size of the bonnet number board, and the Philips, but no one's perfect :D
As stated, those decals were for the Renault 5 elf Turbo UK Cup series, between 1987 and 1989 ONLY. The French series was different, as i'm sure the other European series were. Also, the following UK Coupe Cup, and SuperCoupe cup of the 90's were different, which is why you'll have seen pictures of cup cars running all sorts of decals.
Hopefully that's been of some help to a few people. Some of the above has come off the top of my head, from my suspect memory, as it's been a few years since I got all the info to get the decals replicated for my coupe.
