:sad2: not good! Could some one shed some light on there reasonanings?

*Wales Rally GB was intended to have World Rally Championship qualifying status each and every year.*

What does that mean, qualifying status?

In other words, had already been accepted/confirmed as such by the FIA to be included in a given year's WRC championship schedule.

That's now not the case, and also a good chance that the Welsh/GB rally might not happening at all this year & there-after :crap:

The problem is that they want to spread WRC to other regions to increase its fan base but its really short sighted to do that at the loss of annual classics such as Rally GB Monte Carlo and Finnish rounds. The powers that be reckon we will always watch no matter what they do and they are prob right.

Watching it on tv, agreed, but what happens if you actually want to attend the event? That's gonna be a non-existent opportunity if the plug gets pulled on Wales altogether...

Thanks for that Mart :disagree: this isnt gravy! Why is the motorsport of this country getting moved around and in some cases taken away?!?!?
