RAOC organised test day .
This is a very good day out .We get the whole lot to ourselves .I need 10 to make this happen and we are looking a bit scarce on the Alpine front so open to non-members if they join :agree:

Final approx cost is usually £90 per vehicle (members) 50% payable in advance and 50% on the day. This includes public liabilty insurance. One free spectator per participating vehicle.

AM

0-60
0-100
1/4 mile
vmax (on 2 mile main runway)

PM

Handling on oval circuit & gate circuit
BHP runs

Non participating vehicles (2 spectators) £10. Space is limited.

Strictly members only (except passengers). If your membership is overdue you'll need to pay. Non-members can join on the day for £15.

We normally invite a magazine so PLEASE WEAR YOUR CLUB CLOTHING Polo shirt or T shirt.

We have timing gear and it is the same equipment that they use at the Silverstone race school.

You will need to know the weight of your vehicle for the power runs. If you don't know then we will use the factory figures.

*** DON'T FORGET YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING CIGARETTE LIGHTER SOCKET ***

Directions are here:

We normally aim to start at approx 10.00am, with breakfast in the cafe from around 8.00am. Lunch at 1.00pm. Finish at 5.00pm.

Try man try !!

It really is worth every penny and you get to do pretty much what you like :agree:Power testing or track .We can do the top or bottom track bits so there are some twisty bits .Just keep a look out on the left when doing the track stuff as there are always a few doing top end runs down the 2 mile runway :smokin:

NT = Not Tested
Conditions were damp.
Power = corrected BHP at the flywheel.

The surface was much wetter in the afternoon when the power runs took place and we are not sure how this affects the figures. However as a guide the Clio V6 recorded exactly factory output. Only four vehicles were power tested due to weather conditions.

Weights quoted for 106 and 5GT are factory figures. Vehicles as tested were lighter.
