my car won't start!!!

hi there i've had the headgasket done on my car and changed the carb for a group a item and now it won't run. i've checked spark and thats there, the fuel is also going through but it still aint running... it tried earlier today but no luck and i'm not too sure if i've put all the pipes back on the carb in the right order and if that would affect the starting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you checked youve got the ignition leads on the right way?

try swapping your carb over with the known working one and see if that helps, also check leads are correct 1 being flywheel end or is it the other way round :scratch: i always get that confussed as when i look at it i'd go left to right but it's not lol:ashamed:

leads are fine did check them a while ago will get some pics up as soon as...
reason why i think its the carb is because i've played around with the order it thought they were supposed to be in and it half fired although it didn't start

have you set valve clearances correctly. are you 180 out on the dizzy.
