What size breather hoses should i use on the c1j? i have used 10mm alloy for now but im concerned its too small..

My cup car has PMT bodge with Garden hose:eek:.... that will be going me thinks.:)

I'm pretty sure they should be 16mm id.

Aye i have the asi hoses in front of me they look to be at least 16mm i.d. Im going to make a pmt breather set up using the original seperator & bin the alloy pipe.

Good plan. Thats what I've done too. It only took 2 hoses out of the kit with no chopping.

ive just run mine straight out the rocker cover with 15 plumbers pipe and that fitted into the oe elbow off the rocker top. so 16mm would be about right.

whats the pmt breather set up??

its a case of running the breather system out the rocker cover into a seperate catch tank rather that returning it back to sump. and the catch tank is not a bling one its normally a lucazade bottle or a pepsi bottle ect

I kept the swirl pot so some still goes back to the sump and a bit goes to the tank.

I checked it out and it wasn't full, it was just the bit of oil in the breather on top.
